Las Hermanas

The Las Hermanas Collection is the records of a forty-four year old organization of Hispanic women.  The organization founded in 1971 in Houston, Texas, by two women, members of religious communities and addressed the spiritual and social needs of the burgeoning Hispanic communities throughout the nation. The collections holds the correspondence, national meetings, projects, photographs, and newsletters. The Las Hermanas collection is comprised of approximately  20 linear feet of archival material.
